Welsh Police Police officials reported power outages townwide. The town is under a lockdown.
Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Office officials reported no injuries and no major incidents.
Vinton officials report a few trees down, with awnings blown off over the pumps of a local gas station.
Acadian Ambulance reports no calls in Calcasieu Parish for past few hours. Todd LaPort of Acadian said the service won't respond to other than exceptional calls until winds subside to below 50 mph.
Iowa Police reported no major problems.
