My mother is in DeRidder and if you guys are there, I may have some way of knowing how she and others fare.
I'm in Central Texas and can't get to her.

I wanted to wish everyone well in the Lake Charles area - it's my hometown and I miss it but am safe living in Massachusetts now. God speed.
This blog is a great service to those of us who are far away and worried as those facing the storm are.
