Patricia Thomas of Lake Charles pleads with her son, 11 year old Christopher, to leave their south Lake Charles home late on Friday afternoon. Christopher refused to leave his dog Harley alone in their home. Due to numerous surgeries Patricia has experienced she was unable to evacuate herself and Christopher. Mark, Sam and Amanda Simmons of Carlyss left where they were sheltered to evacuate Patricia and pursuade her son to leave and seek shelter at the American Press.
